NMS employs Registered Dietitians to complete nutrition assessments for residents in Long Term Care. Assessments include weight reviews, food intake evaluation and determining the best diet order for each resident. The Dietitian works closely with the Food Service Manager to ensure foodservice production corresponds to resident diet orders. Dietitians are also an integral member of the staff inservice education program delivered by NMS.
NMS provides Registered Dietitian Services to clients requiring nutrition care in their homes through the LHIN. NMS provides administrative and educational support for our Dietitians, allowing them to focus their time on quality one-on-one nutrition counseling.
